Beth Barlet (01:13)
Hey everyone, welcome to the latest and newest episode of the Salted Podcast. I am so excited that I get to be with all of you again today to talk more about Jesus. I wanna welcome you to the second part of a four part series on growing as influencers for the kingdom of God. And I am just so pumped for what God has.
for you in this episode, whether it’s to encourage, exhort, or challenge your heart to be that much more of an ambassador and advocate for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. last episode we discussed what it meant to be an effective influencer for God’s kingdom as the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
Today I dive into the second part of the verse in Matthew 5 13 where Jesus not only declares his disciples their calling and identity but cautions them to guard their identity and influence in order to not lose their saltiness aka the attributes and heart postures that distinguish them as his disciples apart from the rest of the world. For if we as his disciples lose our saltiness, he tells us that we are rendered good for nothing.
Now if you remember, Matthew 5 13 states, Jesus says, are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. All right, but what does it mean to lose one’s saltiness? And what exactly do we mean when we say quote unquote the world? And how can we maintain our influence as the salt of the earth?
You know,
Ultimately, my heart behind this podcast is to encourage women alike to walk in a way worthy of the gospel of Jesus to make disciples and co-labor with the spirit to build his church. And my love for Jesus and his word compels me to speak truth. And I would say that a couple years ago, more than any other time in my life, the Lord started to light a fire deep inside me and show me that there were so many women around me.
that declared that they were followers of Jesus and that they wanted to receive Jesus in their heart on Sunday, but the rest of the week they were walking around in habitual sin. They were partying and getting drunk. They were walking in promiscuity, sleeping with their boyfriends, getting pregnant outside of marriage, and they would say that they loved Jesus.
but I would hear things come out of their mouth like we all sin anyway and you do your thing and I’ll do my thing, et cetera, et cetera. And it grieved my heart so much that even people around me that I loved were throwing away the fullness of life and blessings that were available to them through a life fully submitted and consecrated to the ways of God’s kingdom and a life submitted to Jesus fully.
And although this may be a tough episode to digest, sometimes, like I found in medicine after practicing for 15 years, that we have to call out the disease and what’s wrong before we can properly take the right steps to heal or cure with the right treatment of the heart. And I remember that when I first got saved, a dear mentor of mine taught me about the importance of bearing fruit for the kingdom of God.
And that many times as Christians, people are distinguishing us from the world around us and our intimacy with Jesus based on our words, behaviors, and love. And that most importantly, influencing for God is not just about how much fruit we bear, but the kind of fruit. And that if we are called to produce figs for the kingdom of God, like Charles Spurgeon once quoted, that I want to bear just that, figs for Jesus, not olives.
For a good tree produces good fruit and a bad tree produces bad. And we also must be cautious of those who put out showy leaves as if they produce fruit, but because of the state of their hearts produce actually no fruit at all. Now a significant portion of the Western Church has lost its saltiness and according to the standards of Jesus has sadly become good for nothing. The fruit they bear does not coincide with the type of tree they proclaim to be.
The enemy has sought to use worldly mindsets, social constructs, and temptations of flesh to slowly silence conviction of the Holy Spirit’s direction, which has ultimately led to a validation of sin and a liberal redefinition of Christianity, where many have created their own idea and image of God. And a lot of mainstream Christianity has become nominal or lukewarm at best. And like many of the seven churches in the Book of Revelation,
Many in today’s churches are asleep, deceived, rebellious in sexual immorality and lukewarm. They have a reputation of being alive but in reality they are dead. And the hypocrisy in the church has caused so many unbelievers to question the validity of the gospel of Jesus Christ. False prophets and preachers alike tickled the ears of believers to believe that grace is cheap
The need of repentance is arbitrary and that Christians can live the same assimilated lifestyle of unbelievers without the need for a life of holiness and purity. The need to repent or bear any cost for the sake of the gospel is unfortunately no longer a belief by many. Spiritual eyes have been so fixated on the impure and the pleasures of this temporary world that they have lost sight of Jesus and what awaits them in their eternal tomorrow.
Few have found the narrow path that leads to life, or if they found it, they refuse to go through it because of its requirements of self-denial and difficulty. Like in the time of the book of Judges in this era, people are seeking to do what is right in their own eyes and fail to uphold the ways of God. Now many in the Western Church walk in what is known as nominal Christianity, and I even myself, a good portion of my life, walked as a nominal Christian.
And I’m sure you’ve heard the term, but what exactly does this really mean? Like the name nominal suggests, there are simply those who take on Christianity as simply a name. There are those who never have experienced true gospel transformation and they lack the understanding of what it truly means to walk as an authentic disciple of God. They either abuse grace or do not understand what it means to fully surrender and walk wholeheartedly in obedience to Christ.
They have no real relationship with God and their hearts have never been renewed, born again or changed. And they unknowingly bring dishonor to God’s name.
So many women today have been deceived in believing that they can have Jesus as their savior without having to submit to him as Lord. The concepts of self-denial, the cost of discipleship, and repentance are foreign to them. A sought after life of consecration has become overshadowed and hindered by the pursuit of happiness and the temporary pleasures of this world. Instead of being sober alert in fasting, reading God’s word and prayer,
They have neglected spiritual disciplines for self-indulgence and are ill-equipped and unprepared for what is coming in the midst of Christ’s There are many whose focus is so much on today that they have no real concept or revelation of their eternal tomorrow. They tolerate habitual sin, they choose temporary pleasures of the world over the rewards of heaven, and they seek social acceptance over purity. They willingly choose culture over conviction to satisfy their sin,
and walk in continual double-mindedness to fit their worldly narrative. In Philippians 3, the apostle Paul describes these individuals as those whose destination is destruction, their God is their appetite and their glory is their shame, their minds are set on earthly things. Philippians 3.19. Additionally to them, the Bible is not hard truth or God’s instruction, it is merely a suggestion at best.
They are also those who portray themselves as super religious, believing they are good people, never acknowledging their own sin, and hence never fully are in need of a savior. Although they can recite all the verses in the Bible, heal the sick, cast out demons and prophesy, showing that they are gifted spiritually in every way, they walk in lawlessness and dissipation. Although they worship him with their lips, their hearts are far from him.” Isaiah 29, 13.
It is so crazy, but I recently read a recent study from 2021 by George Barna at Arizona Christian University, and they found that out of 69 % of Americans who identify themselves as Christian, only 6 % live their lives through a biblical worldview. Okay, so what exactly is a biblical worldview? It was defined as those who make their intellectual, emotional, and spiritual decisions through a scriptural lens.
one based solely on the inherent word of God. But what’s even crazier and worse is that another similar study revealed that only 37 % of pastors held the same view.
As a veteran researcher and CRC director of research, George Barna explains, it’s just further evidence that the culture is influencing the American church much more than Christian churches are influencing the culture. We as women in the body of Christ are becoming those who run their lives by their feelings instead of the word of God.
Women who believe their own opinions and experiences over scripture, and attend conferences and Bible studies all the like, but are without the fruit of the Spirit.
We have slowly allowed the enemy and the world to seep its corruption into the foundational DNA of the Church, blurring its biblical worldview and perspective of true discipleship. The Holy Spirit through a vision had showed me that like a subtle virus not easily seen, lukewarm Christianity has slowly infiltrated the Church and has become quickly infectious.
With its quiet agenda, these false mindsets and socially accepted worldly humanistic constructs that contradict God’s Word are being inserted into the minds of believers, replicating and interweaving themselves in order to cripple its strength and vitality. So how did we get here?
As disciples of Christ, when we slowly compromise and assimilate into the culture around us and fail to uphold the characteristics commanded of us as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, we lose our potency as the salt of the earth. AKA, we walk in the process of desalination. As disciples of Christ, we run the risk of losing our saltiness when we start to exchange the glory of God for the things of this world. When we begin to compromise,
agree with, look like, and become like the people and things that profane and dishonor God around us. It is a slow process that begins with the silencing of conviction, compromise, and deception that leads us back into a self-centered versus a God-centered mindset, worship, and lifestyle. Even though a disciple of Jesus can never lose his salvation, he can lose his saltiness, his fruitfulness, and his influence to those around him by fraternizing and assimilating into the world.
We become useless as heavenly influencers and sometimes, depending on the false truth we align with and the bad fruit in our lives in which we bear, we even become dangerous by influencing those around us straight to hell and we lose our influence and power to preserve, fertilize, and serve thirst for the Kingdom of God. One can easily and solely drift away from a life of godliness to one of habitual sin, rebellion, self-indulgence, and idolatry.
through the belief that the things of this world will falsely bring us greater fulfillment than an intimate relationship with God. The author of Bible.org describes the loss of saltiness through a few simple steps. More than not, we don’t just fall into sin. It usually is a slow compromise of our hearts. And typically the process begins with a friendship with the world, James 4.4. Then becoming stained with the world, James 1.27.
then loving the world, 1 John 2.15, and then being fully conformed to the world, Romans 12.2, where we look no different from the world at all. And we must remember that scripture seeks to remind us that a friend of the world is an enemy of God. You know, I want to share with you a profound dream that the Lord gave me several years ago that I’ll never forget. I remember briefly that I was in a castle.
that was to represent the church in the last days before Jesus’ return. I became increasingly aware of a spiritual enemy attack approaching our gates and I knew I needed to prepare for the warfare. In panic, I went searching around the castle for avid soldiers and weapons for warfare in preparation for the enemy approaching. However, the Lord in the dream showed me that all that could be found were empty abandoned posts and dirty utensils from a time of self-indulgence
while living from the night before. Those who were given the privilege as soldiers of Christ to fight the good fight against darkness were unprepared, unequipped, apathetic, and distracted from their heavenly positions by the pleasures and comforts of the world. When I sought the Lord for help in the dream, he reassured me to stand firm in faith and to look to the dungeons. I was like, Dungeons, Lord, what are you talking about?
He revealed to me that in place of those who in their hearts believed that Christ’s return would be delayed and had willingly forfeited their positions of influence and authority, that he was rising up a remnant that was trained, tested, and matured in the wilderness that would be armored with his godliness, righteousness, and tender love.
He showed me that he was preparing men and women in this hour who were sold out lovers and authentic followers of Jesus, those fully surrendered and willing to die and obey the commands of their King and God’s only Son. Wise and faithful servants were prepared hearts that would fight with the armor of God from a place of victory, offensively piercing the darkness with their swords of the Spirit through fervent prayer, meditation of God’s Word, and selfless love.
For years I meditated on this dream and actually it wasn’t until recently that I realized it wasn’t just showing me what was to come, but through the parable of Matthew 24-45 along with 2 Peter 3-3 and 2 Timothy, that he actually was giving me a battle plan of revelation through his word to share with others to overcome the spiritual battle in the last days and guard our influence. He brought me to the parable of Matthew 25-45.
where Jesus contrasts in the end days between the wise and faithful servants who would be rewarded for all eternity, or the evil ones who scoffed at his return and chose to indulge in the ways of this world ending up in hell. He states in Matthew 24, 44, you also must be ready therefore, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect him. Who then is the faithful, thoughtful and wise servant? Whom his
Master has put in charge of his household to give to the others the food and supplies at the proper time. Blessed is the servant whom, when his master comes, he will find so doing. I solemnly declare to you, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that servant is wicked and says to himself, my master is delayed and is going to be gone a long time, and begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him, and an hour of which he does not wear.
and will punish him
and put him with the pretenders, the hypocrites, and there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
I can just imagine the soldiers at their posts in my dream becoming comfortable after years of waiting for Jesus’ return with no sign of him approaching, rationalizing in their hearts that because Jesus is not coming for a long time or because they’ve been contemplating and doubting that he’s coming at all,
And we can learn both from the wise and faithful servants who are found to be sober, alert, diligent, and working, influencing and stewarding all that was given to them aside from them by the Lord. And the evil servants who because they determined and scoffed in their heart that the Lord’s return would be delayed, gave their lives over to the temporary indulgences of this world, mistreating their fellow servants,
and forgetting the weightiness of their mission, Now, we as followers of Jesus must not forget the weightiness of our mission and the responsibility we carry as his disciples. We influence again not for money, power, or to sell our product, but to save souls for all eternity through the goodness of Jesus Christ. And so we need to believe our lives have significance and a powerful role as vessels for God’s presence to be used for his kingdom.
We are not to underestimate the power of who we carry deep inside of us and the power that everyday choices and our behaviors have to transform the world around us. You know, God urges us to always co-labor with him and to fight the good fight, to fully rest and submit to the Holy Spirit as we abide in him.
We will not be perfect, but through God’s overwhelming grace, we have the one working inside of us who is. And God’s grace is made perfect in our weakness. Even though we won’t be perfect and at times will falter as we all fall short of his glory and are being continually sanctified by the spirit into his image, we don’t fight against flesh and blood, but principalities of the air in the spiritual realm that attack the thoughts of our mind. We can learn from verses like Matthew 24, 26, and 2 Peter,
to always be watchful, sober, and alert, always anticipating, never forgetting the swiftiness of Christ’s eminent return, refusing to sit with scoffers or stand with sinners and mock about his delay. Jesus even tells his disciples that they must stay awake, watchful, giving strict attention to prayer so they do not come into temptation. As our spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. And we remember,
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat and the earth and its works will be burned up. All of you must keep awake and watch and pray that you may not come into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26 41. But what exactly does watchful mean? I was envisioning these soldiers watching into the distance for an enemy attack.
And the Lord spoke to me that part of being watchful is just that, looking into the distance, the future, anticipating the temptations that may come, and preparing one’s mind, rooting oneself in one’s godly convictions and strategizing, becoming intentional for what Satan is about to throw at us. It means in advance choosing and deciding we won’t do something so we are more prepared for the temptation,
Or more able to avoid the tempting situation altogether. For example, if I’m starting to date a new guy and I know that there’s a lot of passion and a lot of flesh stimulating, I need to make a godly decision.
and stand firm early in my convictions that I will choose not to sleep with my boyfriend in advance, versus waiting in the heat of the moment trying to make the decision with my flesh working against me. Or if I’m at work and I know that a group of women are very, very big gossippers, it’s making the decision to not sit at the table the next day.
completely avoiding their conversation altogether and not putting myself in that situation when they start talking about other people. Or it’s making a intentional decision when I wake up in the morning to put my husband and children first, but for all distractions that come at me throughout the day. Or prioritizing Bible time and prayer by setting my alarm the night before. And these sound like crazy, simple little things. Or I mean,
Some are simple and some are even that much more profound, but it’s looking ahead in preparation and preparing, being watchful for things that you know are going to come at you, but being on the offensive versus defensive and walking in victory. And you know, it’s also, think, intentionally guarding our eyes, our ears, and our atmospheres from the world in which we live.
Because in the Gospel of Luke, right after Jesus tells his disciples that they are to be the light in this world, he reminds them that the lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Luke 11, 34. Maybe it’s not watching horror movies. Maybe it’s not watching violence or sexual scenes on TV.
Maybe it’s taking breaks from social media or avoiding it altogether because it feeds all the things the Holy Spirit is trying to kill within us such as competition, jealousy, pride, anger, boasting, comparison, fear of man, acceptance of man over the fear of God, etc etc. Or praying in advance for the Lord to kill our fleshy tendencies.
or to give us a heart in advance to hate sin as he hates sin. And there’s so many things that we need to train and transform our minds with by continually meditating constantly on the word of God. And it’s so important too that we guard our potency when we remove the little foxes in our garden. What do we mean by little foxes? Well, it’s no coincidence that in Ephesians 4,
The apostle Paul addresses that we must be aware of even the littlest of sins as it’s those small steps of disobedience that lead to compromise that cause us to fall asleep without realizing. And when we compromise our convictions and start to slowly become like the world around us, we fall asleep and we lose our effectiveness as well as the zeal and passion to bring the kingdom of God to those around us. Many times, it’s not just the big sins in our lives that can ruin and destroy, but the little ones.
The hidden sins that over time gradually threaten our intimacy and relationship with God. It is so vital that we intentionally uncover and remove the little foxes in our vigorous of our hearts that have left undressed can hinder and spoil the vine, AKA our connection to Jesus.
Foxes throughout scripture symbolically represent entities known for their sly, manipulative, and deceptive behavior that try to steal and destroy. Sin is not always obvious and blatant. Sometimes it’s the smallest open door in our heart where we allow the enemy in which can destroy and murder the fruit of the kingdom in our life. Additionally, we can no longer silence the Holy Spirit’s conviction in order to validate our sin, rebellion,
and compromise. Instead of resting, seeking, and relying upon the Holy Spirit’s presence and voice, so many women are settling for the acceptance and validation from social media, TV, friends that they surround themselves with who walk in the same sin, and other loud voices of our Western culture and world. Unfortunately, no one wants to hear anymore that they are sinners. And it’s no coincidence that John the Baptist was beheaded because of conviction.
Many, by silencing the conviction of God’s Spirit and the willing participation of habitual sin and disobedience, have begun to suffer from moral ambiguity. And as a result of being desensitized to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, we have slipped into a lack of certainty about what is right and what is wrong. And constantly, we, as many daughters in the body of Christ, are being led to determine our own truth, or in other instances, because of a lack of fear of the Lord.
We are starting to validate our sin and continue to do what is wrong. But in order to do all of this, we must keep an eternal perspective, remembering and not taking lightly Jesus’ promise that he would return in judgment for both living and the dead. That we are to walk in the reverence, awe and fear of the Lord, remembering not only his goodness, but also his greatness, his righteousness, his holiness and his need for justice for all of sin and evil and his perfection.
And remember that in light of Jesus’ return and judgment of fire, we are to with intentionality pursue and live a life of holy conduct and godliness. 2 Peter 3.3 We are to refuse to be self-centered and become single-heartedly God-centered, seeking first His kingdom and righteousness, constantly guarding our potency when we correctly count the cost of discipleship, and when our worship overflows as a life of living sacrifice,
and we choose in our hearts to walk the narrow road embracing self denial over self indulgence. The narrow road is one that is hard to find and difficult to go through, but it’s when we choose to pick up our crosses daily and deny ourselves that we become vessels like silver and gold available for God’s use for his glory.
In the gospels we see the influence of Satan upon the world and that he has power over the world system. The world in essence is Satan’s kingdom of darkness and the Bible again tells us that a friend of the world is an enemy of God. And in John one and in one John two six we are taught what the ways of the world are less of the eyes less of the flesh and the pride of life.
And the world and desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. I remember listening to a sermon of a well-known pastor who said that he trained his children to identify and discern
the ways of the world versus the ways of God, by simply sometimes putting his children in front of a TV and watching commercials together. And he said he would go through commercials, say for example, for cars or for food, and he would literally have them identify which carnal desire that the actual commercial was feeding into.
Was it the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh or the pride of life just to train them to be spiritually discerning on the ways of the kingdom of darkness and what they need to guard themselves from and be spiritually aware of. So once again, they would be more on the offensive and defensive and more able to walk in the spirit and avoid things of the flesh. And you know, we too must be just as asserting and intentional of what is of the world and what is of the spirit of God.
But most importantly, to prevent ourselves from conforming to Satan’s kingdom, we must have different standards of living than the culture that surrounds us. We are to live from that biblical worldview and eternal perspective at all times through the understanding of the Holy Spirit and firm belief in God’s Word.
It’s important to remember that per Jesus as children of God, we are no longer part of the world and that he chose us to come out of the world and to not be surprised when it hates us as it hated him.
and we no longer belong to the world after being born again, choosing to live from a higher standard of living, we must intentionally set our plumb line. But what is a plumb line? And so I want to go into about what a plumb line is because it’s such a great analogy of how we are to walk in the high and holy standards of God. Now, everyone has a plumb line. You may not be aware of it, but it’s there.
And a plumb line is literally a weight hanging by a cord. Gravity ensures that the weight hangs perfectly straight, thus allowing a builder to ensure that a structure is vertically aligned, kind of like a level. And it’s simply a simple but effective tool and was used a lot in history to build buildings or hang pictures on walls. And at its core, a plumb line is a standard against which other things are measured. And importantly, it must be noted that we do not create the standard.
We do not make up that criteria by which things are measured. The plumb line is established by a greater force, gravity. It’s the force of gravity that declares what a plumb line is and what is not. And the job of the builder is to base his or her project upon that unmovable standard. And for us as Christians, it is a line in which we are to measure the standard of living set in place by a holy, loving, and just God.
In scripture, it’s used as an image of God’s righteous and holy standard in which we are to live our lives. Jesus Christ is the plumb line for our lives, based on the truth of God’s word and that Jesus is the standard for God’s people and that we should measure our lives against his example and how he lived. More often than not, many are wanting to redefine sin, redefine truth, creating their own standard of living. Measuring our lives against Jesus
We should be continually measuring our life practices by the life of His life. Jesus’ life opposed the normal drives of human nature, and as His disciples, we are called to live the opposite of the ways of this world.
People will know us and know the will of God because we know the Word of God, which has transformed our minds and allows us to live sacrificially in service to Him. In the Bible, God uses a plumb line to measure the moral and spiritual state of His people. God would decide whether they were straight or crooked and we must remember and know that we will all be judged by this measure alone when Jesus returns to judge the living and the dead for all eternity.
We can no longer validate our sin and participate in the ways of this world because they are now accepted in society and commonplace. It’s when we start to change our plumb lines to that of society that we start to slowly allow ourselves to compromise and assimilate into worldly culture. I, as a follower of Jesus, cannot build my life upon the standards of what I see on movies, TV, social media, the peers around me. Nor can I fold in my godly convictions
Simply because of conviction, the mainstream culture and those aligned with the ways of the Kingdom of Darkness and deception try to persecute me or target me for my beliefs. Just like the literal plumb line tool is controlled by a greater force, it’s not I who create these laws or high standards to live by, but my all-powerful, all-knowing, holy and righteous creator.
And I am to trust that His ways are higher than my ways and I am limited to my own understanding because I know as His child He wants the best for me and to keep me blessed and safe.
So sister, the cost of grace needs to be recounted, the hatred for sin reestablished, and the altars of idols upon our hearts dethroned. In an hour of increasingly lukewarm Christianity where gospel truth has been diluted, grace distorted, and the hard lines of biblical discipleship blurred, there must be a remnant will arise that will choose to follow Jesus and his ways wholeheartedly.
who will hold fast to the word of God. The bride of Christ can no longer afford to be box checkers who are happy with a little religion on the side to ease their conscience. The world is in need of those who will truly love by the love of Christ, servants who do nothing out of selfish ambition but are willing to deny themselves for others, those compelled by the compassion, mercy, and tender-hearted care of Jesus Christ.
As Christians, we must ask ourselves and evaluate our lives as we have assimilated so much with the world that we have lost our influence and potency to bring transformation for God’s Kingdom. A salted woman understands the importance of guarding within her the truth and purity of the Kingdom of Heaven. She possesses a supernatural desire within her to live her life with a sold out devotion and consecrated heart for Jesus Christ.
With the power of the Holy Spirit, she seeks to live a life of utmost moral character, burning fruit for God’s kingdom here on earth in anticipation surrounding her Lord’s return. She understands that as a disciple to Christ, she is not to live of this world and that a friend of this world is an enemy of God. Her life through divine intervention is poised to influence and preserve the world around her from moral decay by clinging to God and His Word. At all costs, she knows she must continually uphold her office
to stall the earth or she too will succumb to the judgment of this world and be rendered good for nothing. So simply put, ladies, this week, how can we be catalytic agents of change for this world if we are just like those around us? If there is no difference between our convictions, behaviors, and words as Christ followers to those of this world, we lose our potency according to Jesus and are rendered good for nothing.
So today I am challenging you in this dire hour to test your faith. Where do you feel like you’ve lost your influence by looking like the rest of the world? Where have you solely compromised?
How much have you rejected God’s word and have exchanged a biblical worldview of His inherent truth for worldly wisdom and created your own image of God to fit justify any sinful humanistic beliefs in your life? Does your lifestyle reflect that you wholeheartedly serve God?
It is how we live our lives that reflects what we truly worship. God is light, there is no darkness in him at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. I pray this episode today challenge you to go deeper in your faith and encourage your heart to become that much more consecrated to God.
Join me here next week as I discuss how we can regain our saltiness through God’s compassion and mercy when we realize we need to get right with God after slowly being led astray.
